By becoming a member of AMBAA, you gain access to a dynamic network of MBA graduates, industry leaders, and innovators. Whether you’re a recent graduate or a seasoned executive, membership ensures you're always at the forefront of business leadership and professional growth.
Membership Eligibility
AMBAA membership is open to all who are connected to the University of Auckland MBA programme. We offer four membership tiers based on eligibility.
General Membership: Open to all University of Auckland MBA graduates. General Members enjoy full voting rights and can stand for election to the AMBAA Board.
Associate Membership: Open to current MBA students in their final year or awaiting graduation. Associate Members are approved at the Board’s discretion and become full members upon graduation; they do not have voting rights.
Honorary Membership: Awarded by majority Board vote to individuals such as former lecturers, frequent speakers, or contributors who have supported AMBAA’s mission. Honorary members do not have voting rights.
Life Membership: Granted to those who have made an exceptional contribution to AMBAA. Life Members hold the same rights as General Members but are exempt from annual subscription payments.
As part of New Zealand’s leading MBA alumni network, AMBAA members are expected to:
Uphold the integrity, professionalism, and reputation of AMBAA and the University of Auckland Business School.
Have read and abide by AMBAA’s Constitution, resolutions, and policies.
Maintain confidentiality, respect privacy, and comply with privacy law.
Follow the Chatham House Rule during meetings and events.
Act lawfully and ethically in all AMBAA-related activities.
